Sound Profile & Tuning
Unlike some of DUNU's older, more analytically tuned Titan models (like the original Titan S), the Titan X embraces a warmer, more consumer-friendly musical V-shaped signature: [1, 2]
- 🎸 Bass: Features a generous 9-10dB sub-bass shelf providing satisfying rumble, paired with a punchy, thick mid-bass that gives kick drums and bass lines organic weight. [1, 2]
- 🎤 Mids: The lower midrange inherits some of the warmth from the bass, giving male vocals a full, dense body. The upper-mids are quite forward, making female vocals lively, though they can occasionally verge on "shouty" on poorly mastered tracks. [1, 2]
- 🎼 Treble: Smooth, controlled, and relaxed. It intentionally rolls off in the upper treble, meaning it avoids fatigue and piercing sibilance, though it sacrifices a bit of "air" and micro-detail extension. [1, 2, 3]
- 🗺️ Soundstage & Technicalities: For a $35 IEM, its stereo separation and 3D spatial positioning are excellent. While the overall soundstage is natural rather than massive, its strong positional imaging makes it a surprisingly good budget choice for gaming and movies. [1, 2, 3]
