The KZ D-Fi is one of the most unusual sets in KZ's line-up: a single-dynamic-driver in-ear monitor with real tuning control. A 10mm dual-magnet dynamic driver covers the whole range for a coherent, organic sound, while four electronic tuning switches on each earpiece - backed by a patented Zobel-network circuit - unlock up to 16 different sound styles, a feature almost unheard of on a single-driver IEM at this price.

The first three switch positions each add more low-frequency energy while the fourth adjusts the full band, so you can move from a lean, clean balance to a warmer, bass-forward tuning. Even pushed up, the bass stays detailed and natural rather than boomy, giving the D-Fi a musical, relaxed character that suits everyday listening.

Tuning switches

Four switches on each earpiece. The lever sits up when that switch is on, and down when it is off. The small lever in the box flips it.

The large graph above stays the factory position. Each small graph is that position minus all switches off, from the same rig. The flat line is zero.

Up is on. Down is off. The number under each slot is the number on the shell.

Turn on switch 1 Low frequency up one step Sub-bass +0.6 dB. Super Review, both channels.
Turn on switch 1+2 Low frequency up two steps Sub-bass +1.6 dB versus all off.
