KZ PRX

The KZ PRX is a planar-magnetic in-ear monitor that brings genuine planar technology to a budget price. Instead of a dynamic driver or balanced armatures, it uses a 13.2mm fourth-generation planar diaphragm driven by fourteen high-strength N52 magnets with no voice coil - a design that delivers fast transients, low distortion and excellent high-frequency extension.

The result is a smooth, resolving and spacious sound: a wide, natural soundstage from optimised acoustics, detailed treble kept free of sibilance by a refined damping structure, and a dense, full-bodied presentation with tight, fast planar bass. It trades the punchy V-shape of hybrid sets for clarity, imaging and a more natural tone.
