Overview

KZ ZS10 Pro2 in Egypt

The KZ ZS10 Pro2 is a five-driver hybrid in-ear monitor that pairs a 10mm dual-magnetic dynamic driver with four balanced armatures per side, tied together by an upgraded electronic three-way crossover. The dynamic driver delivers a powerful, physical low end while the quad armatures handle mids and treble with speed and detail - a genuinely engaging, dynamic sound that punches well above its price.

Compared with earlier ZS10 models, the Pro2 is more mature and less aggressively V-shaped: vocals are more forward and articulate, the treble stays airy without turning harsh, and the soundstage is wide with a clean, black background for precise imaging. Four bass tuning switches on each earpiece let you raise or lower the low end by a couple of decibels, so you can shape the sound from bass-heavy fun to a cleaner, more neutral balance.

Lightweight ergonomic resin shells with alloy faceplates keep it comfortable for long sessions, and the detachable 0.75mm 2-pin silver-plated copper cable means you can upgrade cables or add a Bluetooth adapter down the line. Delivered across Egypt with cash on delivery.

Tuning

Tuning switches

Four switches on each earpiece. The lever sits up when that switch is on, and down when it is off. The small lever in the box flips it.

The large graph above stays the factory position. Each small graph is that position minus all switches off, from the same rig. The flat line is zero.

Up is on. Down is off. The number under each slot is the number on the shell.

  1. Turn on switch 1 Low frequency up one level Sub-bass +1.3 dB. Hi End Portable, both channels.
  2. Turn on switch 1+2 Low frequency up two levels Sub-bass +2.8 dB versus all off.
  3. Turn on switch 1+2+3 Low frequency up three levels Sub-bass +6.7 dB versus all off.
  4. Turn on switch 4 High frequency down one level The measured change is under 0.2 dB across the band. Hi End Portable, both channels.
  5. Turn off all switches The basic graph This is the flat line in the small graphs.
  6. All four switches on Low frequency at the third step, with switch 4 on. Sub-bass +6.6 dB versus all off.

Key features

Why it plays above its price

01

Five-driver 1DD + 4BA hybrid

One dynamic driver plus four balanced armatures per side, so bass, mids and treble are each handled by the driver type best suited to them.

02

10mm dual-magnetic dynamic driver

A large dynamic driver moves real air for a physical, slamming low end with natural decay.

03

Quad balanced armatures (dual 31736)

Four fast, low-mass armatures per side resolve midrange and treble detail with quick transients.

04

Electronic three-way crossover

An upgraded electronic crossover splits the signal cleanly across the drivers for coherent, well-layered sound.

05

Four-switch bass tuning

Four DIP tuning switches on each earpiece adjust bass by roughly 2-3 dB, so you dial in your own low-end instead of being stuck with one tuning.

06

Punchy, authoritative bass

Powerful, physical slam that stays controlled - impactful without turning muddy or bloated.

07

Forward, articulate midrange

Vocals sit intimate and clean with good spacing; noticeably less V-shaped and more mature than earlier ZS10 models.

08

Airy, detailed treble

Clear, shimmering highs with good extension that avoid stridency and listening fatigue.

09

Wide soundstage and black background

Strong left-right separation and precise imaging on a quiet background make busy tracks easy to follow.

10

Ergonomic resin shells

Contoured semi-custom shells sit flush for comfort and a consistent seal over long sessions.

11

Alloy faceplates

Metal faceplates add durability and a premium finish over the resin body.

12

Detachable 0.75mm 2-pin cable

Swap or upgrade the cable freely, add a Bluetooth or DSP adapter, or replace a worn cable without replacing the earphones.

13

Silver-plated copper cable

A low-loss, low-microphonic stock cable that keeps the signal clean and resists tangles.

14

Strong passive isolation

The sealed in-ear design blocks outside noise for commutes and noisy rooms - no battery and no ANC hiss.

15

Easy to drive

Reaches full, clean volume from phones, laptops and USB-C dongles; no desktop amplifier required.

16

Tunable across genres

Between the switch settings and tip choice, the ZS10 Pro2 adapts from bass-heavy genres to vocal and detail listening.

Questions

KZ ZS10 Pro2 — frequently asked

Does the KZ ZS10 Pro2 need an amplifier?+

No. At 25-28 ohm and around 108 dB it plays loud and clean from phones, laptops and USB-C dongles. A small DAC dongle can tighten the sound but is not required.

What do the tuning switches do?+

Each earpiece has four DIP switches that raise or lower bass by roughly 2-3 dB. Flip them to taste - more for bass-heavy genres, fewer for a cleaner, more neutral low end. Both earpieces should match.

How is it different from the original ZS10 Pro?+

The ZS10 Pro2 is more mature and less V-shaped, with more present mids, an upgraded electronic three-way crossover, and the added bass tuning switches for flexibility.

Is it good for gaming?+

Yes - the wide soundstage and precise imaging make footsteps and directional cues easy to place. The stock cable is audio-only, so use your PC or console mic, or fit a 0.75mm 2-pin cable with an inline mic.

Does it have a microphone?+

The standard cable is audio-only. You can add voice chat by choosing the mic-cable version or fitting an aftermarket 0.75mm 2-pin cable with an inline microphone.

Can I upgrade or replace the cable?+

Yes. The 0.75mm 2-pin connector is a widely supported standard, so you can fit upgrade cables, balanced cables, or a Bluetooth adapter.

Is the bass enough for bass-heavy music?+

Very much so - the 10mm dynamic driver delivers strong, physical slam, and you can push it further with the bass switches. It stays controlled rather than bloated.

Which ear tips should I use?+

Start with the included starline tips and size for a firm seal - the seal drives both bass and isolation. Wider-bore tips open the treble; foam tips add isolation and warmth.

Do I need to burn it in?+

No. Any change from burn-in is subtle, so you can use it straight out of the box.

What is included and what is the warranty?+

The earphones, a detachable silver-plated 2-pin cable, starline tips and documentation. Backed by 14-day cover against product defects with genuine-unit verification and cash on delivery across Egypt.
