- Driver Configuration: A hybrid 4-driver setup consisting of one 10mm dynamic driver (for bass) and three balanced armatures (for mids and highs).
- Build Materials: The shells are made from medical-grade DLP 3D-printed resin with a CNC-machined aluminum alloy faceplate.
-
Impedance: 20.5Ω
- Sensitivity: 120dB/Vrms @ 1kHz.
- Frequency Response: 8Hz – 40kHz (Effective: 20Hz – 20kHz).
- Cable: Detachable 0.78mm 2-pin silver-plated copper cable.
Sound Profile & Performance
- Tuning: It features a neutral signature with a sub-bass boost. Unlike many budget IEMs that use a V-shaped tuning, the Hexa focuses on clarity, transparency, and a natural midrange.
- Bass: The 10mm dynamic driver provides a clean, well-extended sub-bass with "rumble," though some users find the mid-bass lacks heavy impact or "thump".
- Midrange & Treble: Mids are clear and detailed, while the treble is energetic and sparkly without being overly fatiguing.
- Technicalities: It is praised for its excellent instrument separation and imaging, making it suitable for both critical music listening and professional monitoring.
Design & Comfort
- Fit: Despite an angular, square-ish design, the shells are lightweight (approx. 4.8g per side) and generally considered comfortable for long sessions.
- Nozzle Size: Some users note the nozzles are on the larger side, which may affect fit for those with very small ear canals.
-
Isolation: Offers good passive noise isolation, effective for use in commutes or moderately noisy environments.
